Well it's taken me awhile and I'n sorry HILine but you know how school exams are..
Anyway here's the finished product of my tutorial - [link]
I know you wanted it Black, Red and Curvey but You know I just had to add my trademark blue in there aswell
Hope you like it.
**EDIT**
Changed the pic to the darker version.
There was just too much blue I suppose, so now the scan lines show up better
